Things you should know
How are the vehicles equipped?
All vehicles are equipped with bed linen, towels and tea towels. Should you hire the vehicles for a longer period you can request a second set. All kitchens are completely furnished with necessary utensils, such as cutlery, crockery, pots and pans.
Insurance?
All vehicles are covered with an all inclusive standard insurance. The excess varies between each campervan hire company. Depending on your own personal need for security and on how much risk you are happy to take, you have options to either bring the excess down or waive it altogether. We are happy to give advice and show you possible savings.
What are the booking procedures?
If you are happy with our offer, please let us know. We make the booking for you and mail you a booking confirmation, which also outlines how much deposit to pay in order to secure the booking. Depending on the campervan hire company, you either pay the remaining costs when you collect the vehicle or 30 days prior to collection. This will be outlined in your booking confirmation from us. Payment can be made via our “Secure Payment Page”.
Camping table and chairs?
If you book with GoEzy camping tables and chairs are always included.
Drivers Licence?
The official answer is: Yes you do need an international driver’s licence, unless you have a driving licence written in English
Ferry between Picton and Wellington?
During peak traveling season, from November to March, we do recommend and urge you to book the ferry in advance. This gives you peace of mind, avoids long waiting times and since we always book your sailing during the day, unless otherwise requested, you can enjoy stunning views of the Marlborough Sounds. We book you on the GoEzy – Flexiticket. The advantage is you are not limited to a time and date, and you have the option of changing your booking, even up to 1 hour prior your scheduled sailing time. This can be done via a free phone number at no extra cost. For booking the ferry we require the full names of all people traveling, plus ages of children under the age of 18.

We recommend that you stay the first night after your arrival in New Zealand in a hotel or motel and pick up your campervan on the second day.
